Garage Cleanout in
Carmel Valley
In master-planned Carmel Valley (92130) the HOA won't let a pile sit at the curb — so we load everything straight from the garage, work within the association's check-in and hours, and your association never sends a notice. Whether you're clearing a two-car or three-car garage for an ADU conversion, a relocation, or new-build debris, it's one flat truck-fill price from a photo. From $241, contractor-friendly, no CA sales tax on the service.
How a Carmel Valley garage cleanout works
1 · Send a photo
Snap the garage — the two or three bays, the loft storage, the shelving. You get a flat truck-fill price back in seconds, no in-home walkthrough.
2 · Pick a compliant window
Choose a time inside your HOA's approved hours; tell us the gate or check-in procedure. We book to your contractor or moving date when there is one.
3 · We load from the garage
A vetted, insured crew empties the bay onto the truck — nothing staged at the curb — sorts donation and recycling, and sweeps up. Ready for the car, the movers or the build.
How much does a garage cleanout cost in Carmel Valley?
Garages price as flat truck-fill — you pay for the share of the truck your stuff fills, quoted from a photo before anyone drives. The labor, the load-out, the drive and the disposal are already in it. For comparison, national cost guides put a traditional full-service junk-removal truck-fill at roughly $550–$850+ after a minimum and an on-site estimate; ours is a flat photo number with donation and recycling included and no CA sales tax.
| How full the truck | Flat price |
|---|---|
| Quarter load — a corner clear-out | $241 |
| Light single-car worth | $338 |
| Half a two-car garage | $431 |
| Full single-car / light two-car | $513 |
| Full two-car garage | $587 |
| Packed two-car / light three-car | $661 |
| Full three-car garage / ADU clear | $94 |
$75 minimum. Disposal included; usable furniture donated, fridges refrigerant-recovered, metal, e-waste and clean construction debris recycled. Single items price flat too — a fridge is $164, a washer $133, a treadmill $115. No CA sales tax on the service — the flat price is all-in.
Loaded from the garage, so the HOA never sends a notice
Carmel Valley is one of San Diego's polished master-planned communities — new large single-family homes and townhomes near Del Mar Heights and One Paseo, almost all of it under an HOA. Those associations don't allow a bulk pile to sit at the curb waiting for a truck, and many require a vendor check-in and set service hours. That's exactly why a curbside junk service, or the city's limited program, doesn't work here. We do the opposite: our crew loads straight from the garage onto the truck, so there's nothing staged at the curb to trigger a violation notice, and we work inside your association's approved window and gate procedure. Floors, door frames and the driveway are protected on the way out. The result is a clean, compliant clear-out — one flat price, no drama with the board.
Clearing the garage for an ADU conversion
California's ADU laws set off a real granny-flat boom, and in Carmel Valley that often means converting a garage — or the space above it — into an accessory dwelling. Before the contractor can frame anything, the bay has to be completely empty, and years of stored furniture, boxes, old gym gear and shelving have to go somewhere. We handle that whole step: a full garage-to-empty clear-out, coordinated to the build schedule so we're in and out before demolition or drywall. Because ADU jobs mix household junk with light construction debris — old cabinets, torn-out shelving, drywall offcuts — we take both in one trip and route the clean C&D and metal to recycling. It's the fastest way to hand a broom-clean garage to your builder.
Will the city clear a Carmel Valley garage?
Not usefully. Under San Diego's People's Ordinance and the newer Measure B rollout, even an eligible single-family home gets only a limited, appointment-only bulky option that won't empty a garage on your timeline — and in a Carmel Valley HOA you couldn't legally stage the pile at the curb for that pickup anyway. Apartments and condos get nothing municipal at all. You can confirm eligibility with Environmental Services at 858-694-7000, but for a garage cleanout on a real deadline — an ADU build, a closing, a moving truck — full-service loaded from the garage is the only thing that fits both the schedule and the HOA rules.
Where it all goes
We route everything to the right place instead of dumping it. Usable furniture and goods go to Goodwill of San Diego, the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul / Father Joe's Villages and Habitat for Humanity ReStore, with a donation receipt where you want one. Mattresses go to free Bye Bye Mattress recycling at Miramar, TVs, monitors and computers to free California e-waste, paint and chemicals to the Miramar HHW facility, and fridges and freezers get EPA-certified refrigerant recovery. Scrap metal and clean construction debris from an ADU tear-out are recycled. Only the true remainder is disposed at the Miramar Landfill — and San Diego's moderate disposal with no add-on refuse tax keeps your flat price fair.
