A value cleanout, in your language

City Heights does not work like a franchise neighborhood, and a cleanout here is as much about trust and language as it is about a truck. The apartment courts and older homes off El Cajon Blvd, University Ave, and Fairmount house Latino, Vietnamese, Somali and East African, Cambodian, and Chaldean and Arabic families — many of them careful with a dollar, many resettled here, and many who have been quoted a vague number by a company that could not answer a simple question in their language. We come at it the opposite way: a crew that greets you in the language you actually speak, and a flat price you can see from a photo before anyone knocks. Precio fijo, sin sorpresas. Giá cố định. No hourly meter, no day-of markup, no fine print.

The jobs are steady and practical. On the residential side it is the apartment move-out — a couch and a mattress at lease-end, a dead fridge or washer, the closet full of stuff nobody claimed — and the whole-house clear-out when an older single-family home is cleared before a sale or a move. On the commercial side it is El Cajon Blvd storefront turnover: shelving, counters, coolers, and equipment out when a market, restaurant, or shop opens, closes, or remodels. All of it is carried out of the unit, loaded, and hauled on one flat number that covers the labor, the truck, and the disposal — and because California does not tax the service, that flat price is the whole price.

What a City Heights cleanout covers

  • Apartment move-outs — couch, mattress, and the rest carried down from the courtyard units, no stair surcharge.
  • House & whole-home clear-outs — older SFH emptied before a sale or a move, usable pieces donated.
  • El Cajon Blvd storefront turnover — shelving, counters, coolers, furniture, and equipment on your hours.
  • Appliance & fridge haul — refrigerators, washers, dryers, and window AC units, refrigerant recovered where required.
  • Single pieces — a sofa, a mattress, a dresser, or a TV, from the $75 minimum.

The city won't take it from an apartment — we will

City Heights is mostly apartments, and that runs straight into a rule that hits this neighborhood harder than most: the City of San Diego does not collect bulky items from apartments and condos at all. The old People's Ordinance only ever served single-family homes with street access, and even after Measure B began changing the funding in 2022, there is still no real on-demand city bulky pickup — eligible houses get a limited, appointment-only option, and multifamily buildings get nothing. For a family finishing a move-out, or a shop clearing its fixtures, there is no city truck coming, and hauling it to Miramar yourself is not realistic without a truck and the time. A flat-price, full-service cleanout is the answer that fits a value budget: we carry it out of the apartment or the storefront and haul it in one trip, el mismo día / trong ngày when we can. Good furniture is donated (Goodwill, the Salvation Army, Habitat ReStore, Father Joe's Villages), mattresses go to free recycling, TVs and electronics to free California e-waste, and refrigerators get certified refrigerant recovery — honest, and in your language.

What City Heights customers say

★★★★★

★★★★★

"My family is Somali and English is not our first language. Other companies rushed us; these folks were patient, gave a clear flat price from a photo, and cleared the whole apartment before we handed back the keys. Respectful and fair."
