Doing it without the neighbors watching

This matters to almost every family that calls, and it is worth saying out loud.

In HOA-governed communities in Carmel Valley, 4S Ranch, Eastlake or Rancho Bernardo, a multi-day cleanout with material staged on a driveway is going to draw attention and possibly a violation notice. In the older alley-loaded blocks of North Park and Golden Hill, staging in the alley is a different kind of visible.
